Swami Vivekananda Welfare Centre, Kiran

The Vivekananda Welfare Centre at Kiran was established by the Mission with a primary focus on addressing the medical needs of the underprivileged people in Kiran and the neighboring villages. The centre conducts a range of activities aimed at uplifting the local community, and one of its significant initiatives is the Sunday medical camp. Through this camp, essential healthcare services are provided to those in need, and in the year 2022, 5984 patients received medical treatment from the centre.

Additionally, the centre also runs a Sunday religious school for children, with the aim of imparting spiritual education and instilling important values in them. The centre is located approximately 27.6 km from Ramakrishna Mission, Kallady, Batticaloa.
