Vaharai Cluster
Jivanananda Social Service (JSS) program incorporates development initiatives in the following areas: (1) Rural Development, (2) Water Supply, (3) Healthcare, (4) Disaster Relief, (5) Self-employment, (6) Scholarships, (7) Higher Education, (8) Boarding and Lodging, (9) Sunday Religious Schools, and (10) Satsang.
As part of this program, the Mission has undertaken the following initiatives:
1. On 4 January 2023, the following activities were undertaken in Kokuwil: (1) two borewells were repaired and inaugurated for public use, (2) a Sunday religious school was inaugurated at BT/KK/Kokuwil Tamil Vidyalayam, and (3) notebooks and stationery were distributed to the students of the school.
2. On 4 January 2023, the following activities were undertaken in Kirimichodai: (1) a borewell was repaired and inaugurated at BT/KK/Kirimichodai G.T.M. School, (2) a Sunday religious school was inaugurated at the school, and (3) notebooks and stationery were distributed to the students of the school.
3. On 4 January 2023, the following activities were undertaken in Mathurankernykulam: (1) a Sunday religious school was inaugurated at BT/KK/Mathurankernykulam G.T.M.S School, (2) notebooks and stationery were distributed to the students of the school, and (3) a teacher recruited by the Mission was pressed into service for the school.
4. In January 2023, the Mission inaugurated regular medical camps for Kokuwil, Kirimichodai, and Mathurankernykulam villages in Vaharai.
