Vivekananda Centre for Human Excellence
On 18 December 2022, Srimat Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj, Vice President of Ramakrishna Math and Mission and Adhyaksha of Sri Ramakrishna Math, Chennai, declared open the Vivekananda Centre for Human Excellence at Batticaloa via a video message.
This centre, based on the educational philosophy of Swami Vivekananda, offers certified courses in (1) Pannisai, (2) Carnatic Music, (3) Bharatanatyam, (4) Violin, (5) Mridangam, (6) Painting, (7) English, (8) Sinhala, (9) Yoga for Men, (10) Yoga for Women, (11) Karate, (12) Computer Application Assistant, and (13) Complete Personality Development.
One hundred and eighty two students graduated from the first batch. Hon. Governor of Easter Province, Sri Senthil Thondaman, and other dignitaries gave certifies to students during the graduation program held on 20 July 2023.
